The General Has New Pets

Fresh Egg

I got to go to the chicken coop to see the chickens. One of our chickens happened to be laying an egg. So we sat down to watch the egg come out. It took a very long time. The red hen was trying to get Audry out of the basket where she was trying to lay her egg. The red hen succeeded, but then Audry got it back. The red hen kept annoying Audry so she went to a different basket. Then we waited a while and I saw the egg come out!

Now I'm going to eat the egg. Can't get any fresher than that!

J-Man in his band uniform at his first performance. Isn't he cute?!


Since these pictures were taken, their band made Grand Champion at their most recent competition. That's #1 out of all the bands there, not just in their class. I'm a wee bit proud. :)

Well, there was going to be more, but Blogger appears to be having difficulties at the moment. So for now, just enjoy the glory of my marching trumpet player!
